About Me
I am a fine artist and printmaker who has lived in West Yorkshire for over 30 years; much of this time in Marsden and Slaithwaite in the Colne Valley. I find the rural and urban variety and contrast around me a never ending source of inspiration. I am particularly attracted to man’s impact on the environment and reflecting both the grandeur and destruction that results. I strive to be more creative and reflective in my work and enjoy the challenge of print. I use a variety of two dimensional and printing techniques presenting semi abstract images through screen print, collograph, monoprint , and etching. I am often drawn to vibrant colours, although more recently I have returned to working on smaller mono colour pieces using etching and woodcut .
